Bonny Vainö Idhenga, BVIF Chairman
Bonny earned a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Pinar del Rio in Cuba. His career has spanned work in the diplomatic sector for over the last 19 years. Throughout of which, he has taken an active role in a range of philanthropic activities, travelling to more than 24 countries, representing Namibia in various capacities. He has also frequently aided as a contributor to The Public Debates and Public Relations Tactics.
Dr. med. Katri Elina Clemens, BVIF President
From 1997 to 2000, while completing her doctoral thesis in Bonn, Germany, with regard to tuberculosis in Namibia, Dr. med. Clemens travelled to Namibia on a regular basis, after which she received her license to practice medicine in the year 2000. Since 2002, she regularly holds lectures in palliative medicine in Namibia. In 2015, she was appointed as the President of the Bonny Vainö Idhenga Foundation. She has been initiating, planning and organizing various national and international scientific congresses and in 2016, she established the International Academy of Palliative Care in Bonn.
Dan Pandeni Scott Idhenga, Vice President
Dan grew up in 8 countries, receiving an international upbringing. Dan is a self-motivated student and active member of the Windhoek community, helping to organize and participate in several community service projects. He was actively involved in community projects, while completing his International Baccalaureate Diploma Program at the Windhoek International School in 2015. )
Naita Hishoono, Executive Director, Secretary
Dan, through living in eight countries, has received an international upbringing. He has received an excellent education in different parts of the world, attending school in a number of multicultural environments. Dan passed his International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) certificate with Merit Honors. Currently, he is studying at Windhoek International School while completing the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP)
Gerson Naruseb, Executive Director / Treasurer
After graduating from the University of Stellenbosch, Gerson went on to earn a diploma in Financial and Cost Accounting from the Abington College in the UK. He comes to us with a broad range of professional achievements. Furthermore, he is a board member of the Namibian Drilling Contractors Association. In his free time, he values reading, watching television and farming.)
Maray Cordovi, Executive Director / Deputy Treasurer
Maray brings a strong background in pharmaceutical experience. She began her career as a pharmacist in Cuba and has been working in Namibia since 2004. She is currently responsible for dispensing medicines to in and out patients, issuing drugs and promoting the use of essential medicines, amongst other duties. In her free time, she participates in scientific events about medicines and appreciates reading, watching television and travelling.)
Brigadier General Namupala, Executive Director / Administration
Theophilus, a former soldier, is a certified international procurement professional as well as holding a diploma in modern cartography and reproduction technology. He’s a natural born linguist, speaking no less than 6 languages. In his free time, he practices graphic art, which has led him to design most of SWAPO posters, pamphlets, book covers, election campaign badges and t-shirts amongst many others.
